Itinerary Detail
Day 1: Pick-up from Airport to hotel
You will be picked up from the airport by our professional guide and transferred to the hotel. Here, you will receive a briefing about your upcoming trip and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Overnight stay at: Victoria Royal Beach Hotel / Protea Hotel / or any other lodge of our choice (1 night)
Day 2: Mabamba Swamp Bird Watching and Kampala City Tour
After breakfast, drive to Mabamba Swamp on Lake Victoria, famous for the shoebill—one of the most fascinating and unique birds, standing 4–5 feet tall with a wingspan of 7–8 feet. Observe its enormous shoe-shaped bill, perfect for catching fish and amphibians. After the bird-watching experience, return to Kampala for lunch. In the afternoon, explore Kampala City visiting Namirembe Cathedral, the Baha’i Temple, and Kasubi Tombs to learn about the Baganda Kingdom and its traditions.

Day 3: Jinja City – Source of the Nile and Hanging Bridge
After breakfast, drive to Jinja City to visit the iconic Source of the Nile and the only hanging bridge in Uganda. Adventure seekers may choose activities such as bungee jumping, tubing, or quad biking along the Nile. After a day of exploration and adventure, check in at the lodge for rest.

Day 4: Mount Elgon National Park
After breakfast, drive to Mbale City to explore Mount Elgon National Park. Optional activities include mountain trekking or hiking to Wagagai Peak, the highest point of the mountain. The park is home to over 300 bird species, providing a rich experience for bird watchers and nature lovers. In the evening, check in at a lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 5: Visit to SIPI Falls and Community Nature Walk
After breakfast, proceed to SIPI Falls in Kapchorwa District, located at the foothills of Mount Elgon. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the falls dropping approximately 100 meters and the surrounding landscapes ideal for photography. Adventure enthusiasts can climb the cliffs overlooking the falls. Interact with the local communities to learn about their culture, traditions, and daily life. In the afternoon, enjoy a community nature walk. Return to the lodge for overnight stay.

DAY 6: Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe
After breakfast, embark on the drive back to Kampala or Entebbe to catch your flight. Depending on your schedule, you may also choose a domestic flight from Mbale or Jinja for convenience.
