Located in eastern Uganda, Mount Elgon National Park is home to the extinct volcano Mount Elgon, one of East Africa’s oldest and largest volcanic mountains. The park is renowned for its caves, waterfalls, and unique vegetation, including the iconic giant lobelias.
It offers a less strenuous climbing experience compared to other East African mountains, making it ideal for novice climbers.
