Have early breakfast and then start the journey for the day. This is a drive to Mabamba swamp on Lake Victoria, a place that is rich with birds especially shoebill. A shoebill is one of the most fascinating and unique birds. Shoebills are massive birds, standing at around 4 to 5 feet tall with a wingspan of about 7 to 8 feet. The shoebill’s most iconic feature is its enormous, shoe-shaped bill. It is wide, flat, and slightly curved at the tip, resembling a large wooden shoe. The bill is a crucial tool for catching their prey, such as fish and amphibians. Their sheer size alone is enough to make them stand out. From Mabamba, drive back to Kampala. You will be in Kampala in the afternoon. You will take lunch and then get on a drive to tour Kampala Capital City. Here, you will visit Namirembe cathedral one of the oldest churches in Uganda, Bhahai Temple and then Kasubi tombs where Kings in Buganda Kingdom are buried (here you will get full knowledge of the tribe called Baganda and Kingdom in general).
