Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most visited national park, is located in the western part of the country. Known for its diverse ecosystems, including savannahs, wetlands, and forests, it offers breathtaking views of the Rwenzori Mountains and Lake Edward. The park is famed for its tree-climbing lions found in the Ishasha sector.

Rich in wildlife, the park hosts over 95 mammal species and more than 600 bird species, making it a top destination for safari enthusiasts. The Kazinga Channel, a waterway teeming with hippos and crocodiles, is a major highlight.
