Itinerary Detail

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

 Arrival at Entebbe International Airport where you will be welcomed by our representative guide. Then drive to one of our Hotels in Entebbe or Kampala. (1 night)

Day 2: Drive to Mabamba swamp on Lake Victoria

Have early breakfast and then get a drive to Mabamba swamp on Lake Victoria that is rich with birds especially shoebill. Then drive back to have a tour of the city. Here, you will visit Namirembe cathedral one of the oldest churches in Uganda, Bhahai Temple and Kasubi tombs where Kings in Buganda Kingdom are buried (here you will get full knowledge of the tribe called Baganda and Kingdom in general). Have a night in one of the hotels in Kampala. (sleep-1 night)

Day 3: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

Have breakfast and then drive to Murchison falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will see the Rhinos and later have a lunch enroute, arrive in the evening and check in your hotel/lodge.

Day 4: Game Drive in Murchison Falls

After breakfast have a morning game drive where you may see Lions, elephants, leopards, Bufalos and tigers and in the afternoon get a boat ride where you will see Hippos, crocodiles, and elephants coming close to the waters of River Nile. It is important to note that Murchison falls national park is a home to over 144 mammal species and you will also experience one of the biggest waterfalls of the River Nile where it swings in 7 meters gap before it continues further North of the country.  (2nights at Murchison falls).

Day 5: Drive to Kibaale National Park

After breakfast, drive to Kibaale National Park, arrive in the early afternoon where you may decide to have a rest or a community walk or go for Bigodi Swamp Walk where you will see a lot of forest birds, baboons, and monkeys, and then check in to one of our Hotels in the National Park. (Here, you will get briefing for the next morning by our guide). (1 night)

DAY 6: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP)

After breakfast, early in the morning have a chimpanzee trekking and later on, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) where you will arrive in the afternoon. Here you may check in the hotel or do evening game drive if time allows.

DAY 7: Game Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have early breakfast and get a morning game drive in the QENP where you will see Lions, elephants and in the afternoon get a boat ride where you will see Hippos, crocodiles and Huge elephants coming down to drink water. At QENP you will see and enjoy the vast scenery of the grasslands and various species of birds may grace your trip while in this National Park (2nights)

DAY 8: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive in the early hours of the afternoon. You may decide to have a community walk or rest. Here, you will get a briefing on the next day activities by our guide. (1 Night)

DAY 9: Gorilla Trekking

Have early morning breakfast, and then get ready for Gorrila trekking. You will also experience tall trees that form nice canopies, hear melodic sounds of birds in the Impenetrable Forest. Your trip will also be spiced by the view of a waterfall where occasionally forest elephants come down to drink water.  Its an amazing experience for someone’s lifetime. (2 nights)

DAY 10: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, drive to lake Bunyonyi where you will have a boat ride to visit islands referred to as punishment islands (where girls who would get pregnant before marriage, would be taken for punishment) and Bushara Islands where people with leprosy would be taken for treatment during the days of colonialism. (1night)

DAY 11:  Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, drive to lake Mburo National Park and arrive early in the afternoon.  Here, you will have a briefing for the nest day activities by our guide. (1 night)

DAY 12: Game Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, have a game drive in the early morning.  At Lake Mburo National Park you may see zebras, impalas, leopards, hyenas, Hipo, topi, Giraffes, elands, Defassa waterbuck, buffalos. Over 200 bird species will spice your visit to Lake Mburo National Park. Thereafter, drive to Entebbe airport where you may make a stopover at Equator on your way and then proceed to catch your flight or have a night in Kampala or Entebbe on your choice.
