Itinerary Detail

Day 1: Pick-up from Airport to hotel

Arrive at the airport where you will be picked up by our professional guide. Transfer to the hotel and be briefed to get prepared for the tour. Overnight stay at the hotel (1 night)

Day 2: After Breakfast Drive to Kibaale National Park

After Breakfast Drive to Kibaale National Park located in Southwestern Uganda. You will arrive in the afternoon and you may decide to have a rest or have a village walk. Have night in the National Park in one of the hotels. (Then get briefing for the morning activities by our guide). (1 night)

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibaale National Park

After breakfast get ready for chimpanzee trekking in the same park. You will experience chimpanzees, live baboons, blue moneys, mantled guereza and the red-tailed monkeys. After chimpanzee trekking you will have a night in the park or drive to queen Elizabeth National Park depending on the program.

Day 4: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP)

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) through villages while you experience the crater lakes, the rich culture of the local people and the splendid Rwenzori Mountains arrive at QENP during lunch hours, have a game drive before or after checking in your lodge. (2 nights at QENP).

Day 5: Drive to Bwindi National Park

After breakfast Drive to Bwindi National Park and arrive in the early hours of the afternoon. If time allows, you may have a community village walk or decide to have enough rest so that you are able to have Gorilla trekking when you are fresh. (There you will get briefing from our guide for the next morning activities)

DAY 6: Gorilla trekking at Rushaga

Have breakfast and get ready for Gorilla trekking at Rushaga where you will meet the interesting primates. You may also see Forest, Monkeys, forest elephants. Your trip will also be spiced by the view of a permanent spring waterfall where occasionally forest elephants come down to drink water. Have a second night in Bwindi National Park (2 nights)

DAY 7: Drive to lake Bunyonyi

Have breakfast and then drive to lake Bunyonyi where you will have a boat ride to visit islands referred to as punishment islands (where girls who would get pregnant before mariage, would be taken for punishment) and Bushara Islands where people with leprosy would be taken for treatment during the days of colonialism. (1night)

DAY 8: Drive to lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, drive to lake Mburo National Park, and here you may have an evening game drive before or after checking in your hotel/lodge. (1night)

DAY 9: Game drive at lake Mburo National Park

Have a game drive in the early morning at lake Mburo National Park. At Lake Mburo National Park you may see zebras, impalas, leopards, Hynas, Hipo, topi, Giraffes, elands, Defassa waterbuck, buffalos. Over 200 bird species will spice your visit to Lake Mburo National Park. You will now drive to Entebbe airport where you may make a stop at Equator on your way and then proceed to catch your flight or have a night in Kampala or Entebbe on your choice (1night).
