Itinerary Detail
Day 1: Arrival and Orientation
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Uganda’s main gateway. You will be welcomed by our tour guide, who will provide a briefing to prepare you for the journey ahead.
Overnight stay at: Hotel in Entebbe/Kampala (1 night)
Day 2: Kampala City Tour & Cultural Heritage
After breakfast, visit the Uganda Museum to explore Uganda’s history, traditional music, costumes, and archaeological exhibits. Proceed to Kasubi Tombs, a UNESCO World Heritage site, home to Buganda kings and a showcase of traditional architecture and rituals. Enjoy live performances of traditional Kiganda dances and drums, then explore Buganda Road Market for crafts, beadwork, carvings, and fabrics. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Ankole Kingdom & Ekiyogwe Cattle Experience
After breakfast, drive to Western Uganda (Mbarara, Kiruhura, Kazo) to explore the Ankole region, famous for its long-horned Ekiyogwe cattle. Visit the Ankole Heritage Centre to learn about traditional rituals, crafts, and historical artifacts. Participate in a hands-on cow herding experience and learn about the cultural significance of the Ankole cattle. Check in at your hotel in the evening.

Day 4: Lake Bunyonyi & Punishment Islands
After breakfast, drive to Lake Bunyonyi and enjoy a boat ride to the islands, including Punishment Island and Bushara Island, learning about their historical significance during colonial times. In the afternoon, continue to Kisoro and check in at the hotel.

Day 5: Batwa Community Cultural Experience
After breakfast, visit the Batwa community in Kisoro. Learn about the indigenous Batwa people, their history as forest dwellers, and unique cultural traditions. Participate in traditional songs, dances, cooking, storytelling, and discover how they lived in harmony with nature. Return to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 6: Departure to Kampala or Entebbe
After breakfast and a final briefing from your guide, embark on the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport to catch your flight.
